Sluggers Takes NYC: A Rooftop Halloween Party Above the Clouds
Table of contents
There’s nightlife—and then there are nights that actually make history.
Last night in New York City, Sluggers transformed the exclusive rooftop at Harbor Nightclub into a Halloween party that looked like Gotham met a cannabis dreamland. Guests weren’t just attending a party—they were stepping into a one-night-only universe floating above the Hudson, surrounded by skyline lights, booming bass, and a crowd that lives and breathes the essence of cannabis culture.
And yes, it was exactly as wild as it sounds.
The Night the Rooftop Became a Movement
Nothing about this night was ordinary. Before the doors opened, a line of budtenders, dispensary staff, partners, and brand crews wrapped down the marina. Everyone knew something rare was happening: a private industry event where people behind the counter—the ones talking to consumers every day—became the VIPs.
Inside, Sluggers newest drops, while Halloween visuals pulsed across panoramic LED walls. Packs were being passed, connections were being made, and conversations flowed as smoothly as the NYC skyline breeze.
Everywhere you turned, there were the people who make this industry run.
And then the energy shifted—
NY rapper Fivio Foreign hit the rooftop, and the club turned up to max.

A House Full of Heavy Hitters
This wasn’t just a Sluggers takeover. It was a unity moment for New York cannabis.
Brands in attendance included:
HPI, Dank, Ghost, Platinum Vape, and Green Revolution—leading the charge alongside Sluggers in shaping what the modern cannabis movement looks like.
We talk so much about collaboration in this industry—but last night, we lived it. Competitors became collaborators. Budtenders became family. Instead of standing in booths or staring across expo aisles, we stood shoulder to shoulder—dancing, laughing, learning, blazing.
“Connecting directly with the dispensary staff and budtenders who make it all happen…
These moments remind us why we do what we do.”
Budtenders: The Real Influencers
Let’s say it loud for the people in the back:
Budtenders influence the culture.
Budtenders guide the consumer experience.
Budtenders are the front lines of this industry.
Our mission was simple: give them the night they deserve.
-
Face-to-face storytelling
-
Real networking
-
Space to try product and ask questions
-
A celebration honoring their role
Because building a brand isn’t about the loudest billboard—it’s about the strongest relationships.
This Is How We Grow… Together
We say the cannabis industry is about community, nights like this remind us to slow down and connect.
“To truly build community, educate, and share our new drops the right way,
we need nights like this at least four times a year.”
We agree.
This isn’t the exception anymore—it’s the blueprint.
When we hug, share, learn, and listen—we grow. When we honor the budtenders, we elevate the whole marketplace. And when brands collaborate rather than compete, the culture wins.
NYC—You Showed Up
Thank you to everyone who came with energy, intention, and open arms.
Thank you to the brands who joined forces to make the night bigger than all of us.
And thank you to every budtender and retailer who keeps this industry moving forward—one consumer conversation at a time.
The rooftop was just the beginning.
We’re building something bigger.
See you at the next one.
