Sluggers Brings the Clubhouse to FlowerExpo 2026
Table of contents
Where good products, great people, and even better conversations came together.
Last week, the Sluggers team headed to North Hampton for another incredible Flower Expo, one of the Northeast's premier cannabis trade shows bringing together dispensaries, brands, budtenders, retailers, and industry leaders from across the region.
While the expo floor was packed with innovative products and exciting new brands, our goal was simple: create a space where people could slow down, recharge, and make meaningful connections.
Welcome to the Sluggers Clubhouse.
More Than a Booth
From the moment the doors opened, the Sluggers Clubhouse became exactly what we hoped it would—a place to kick back and try our product, escape the summer heat, and catch up with friends both old and new.
Trade shows can move fast. Between appointments, panels, and networking, it's easy to spend the day rushing from one booth to the next. We wanted to offer something different.
Whether someone stopped in for five minutes or stayed for half an hour, the Clubhouse gave attendees a comfortable place to connect with fellow cannabis professionals, spark new conversations, and strengthen existing relationships.
Over two successful days, we had the opportunity to meet countless budtenders, retail partners, dispensary decision-makers, and fellow brands. Some faces were familiar, while others were first introductions that we hope become long-term partnerships.
Those conversations are what events like Flower Expo are really about.
Taking the Stage
One of the highlights of the week came when Sluggers co-founder Josh Schmidt joined fellow cannabis leaders for the panel discussion:
"Can Your Brand Travel? The Playbook for Scaling Cannabis Brands Across State Lines."
The conversation explored what it takes to build a brand that resonates beyond a single market while navigating the unique challenges of the cannabis industry.
Alongside other respected founders and trailblazers, Josh shared insights into building authentic brand identity, creating memorable customer experiences, and maintaining consistency while growing into new markets.
As cannabis continues to evolve, conversations like these help move the industry forward, and we're proud to have been part of them.

Fresh Cuts & Fresh Vibes
No Sluggers activation would be complete without bringing a little extra personality to the experience.
Throughout both days, MK the Barber, better known behind the turntables as DJ Bigg Wize, kept the Clubhouse buzzing.
His live DJ set created the perfect soundtrack for the expo while his pop-up barber shop gave attendees the chance to leave looking just as fresh as they felt.
Watching someone grab a lineup, hang out with friends, and then jump right back into the show perfectly captured what the Sluggers Clubhouse was all about.
Great music.
Good people.
Relaxed energy.
It wasn't just another booth—it felt like a place you actually wanted to spend time.
Building Community
One of our favorite parts of Flower Expo is reconnecting with the people who make this industry special.
From longtime retail partners and brand friends to first-time introductions, every conversation reminded us why relationships continue to be one of the most valuable parts of cannabis.
The industry moves quickly, but face-to-face conversations still matter.
We caught up with familiar faces we've worked alongside for years, met passionate budtenders eager to learn about our newest products, and connected with retailers excited to see what's next for Sluggers.
Those moments often turn into collaborations, partnerships, and friendships that last well beyond the trade show floor.
That's what keeps us coming back every year.

Keeping the Momentum Going
When the expo wrapped each day, the networking didn't stop.
The Sluggers team joined friends and industry partners at the Fire & Ice After Party, hosted by The Cannex Club.
The event delivered exactly what its name promised.
Fire dancers lit up the night while stunning ice sculptures, live artists, incredible music, and an energetic crowd created one of the standout celebrations of Flower Expo week.
It was another opportunity to continue conversations that started earlier in the day and celebrate the incredible community that makes this industry so unique.
Thank You, Flower Expo
Every year, Flower Expo reminds us that cannabis is ultimately about people.
The products matter.
Innovation matters.
But it's the relationships—the conversations, collaborations, and shared passion—that continue pushing this industry forward.
To everyone who stopped by the Sluggers Clubhouse, grabbed a drink, got a fresh cut, caught up with our team, attended Josh's panel, or simply introduced themselves for the first time, thank you.
We appreciate every conversation, every handshake, and every opportunity to connect.
A huge thank you as well to Jason Bello and the FlowerExpo team for another fantastic event and to everyone who helped make the Sluggers Clubhouse such a memorable stop on the show floor.
Until next year... we'll keep the clubhouse ready.
